Sexual orientation is not solid, it is a fluid state. While sexual orientation cannot be forced to change, it can change organically over a period of time. You might be heterosexual in your teens, and in your late 30s be pansexual. You might be born homosexual but become more asexual when you’re an adult. Sexual orientation is a changing spectrum, and that’s okay. It’s okay for your orientation to change. It’s okay for life experience shape who you are. It’s okay to fall in love with someone who doesn’t necessarily match up with your orientation. It’s okay not to fit into any sexual orientation “box”. Everything you feel in regards to your sexual or romantic orientation is valid. There is no “wrong” way to be or to describe yourself.
